越後浦佐毘沙門堂裸押合大祭　2025.3.1

隣町の「越後浦佐毘沙門堂裸押合大祭」を観に行ってきました。

約1200年の歴史を持つ日本三大奇祭の一つ。

我先に毘沙門天に拝もうと集まり始め、多くの民衆が押合い始めたのがきっかけだそうです。

「サンヨー、サンヨ！」の掛け声がすごい迫力でした。

On 2025.3.1, I went to see the "Echigo Urasa Bishamondo Naked Oshiai Grand Festival" in a neighboring town.

It is one of the three most bizarre festivals in Japan with a history of about 1,200 years.

It is said that the festival started when many people began to gather to worship Bishamonten (the god of Buddhism), and many people started to push each other.

The chants of "Sanyo, Sanyo!was very powerful.
